Does Alberta 1st support immediate independence?

We understand the frustration many Albertans feel—and we share the goal of securing Alberta’s sovereignty. We feel that the next next logical step is for Alberta to establish our own Consitution. We must expand our revenue agency, establish an Alberta Police force, create an Alberta Pension plan and assert control over immigration to Alberta.

Alberta 1st supports a modern, made-in-Alberta Constitution, approved by Albertans. This document would establish the rights of Albertans, define our institutions, and prepare the province to operate independently if that’s the democratic will of the people. With a constitution, we create a roadmap that both Albertans and the international community can take seriously.

We believe in Alberta's right of self-determination, which can be earned only through clarity, structure, discipline, and hard work.
